Insert positioning design: Mold design should ensure the precise positioning of inserts during the injection molding process. Structures such as positioning pins and positioning grooves can be used to fix the inserts in the accurate position in the mold cavity. For example, for small circular metal inserts, a matching circular positioning groove is set in the mold. The insert can be accurately embedded in it to prevent displacement during the injection molding process.
